In onze 200 m² grootte Japanse winkel vindt je een uiteenlopende collectie Japanse spullen, gaande van kimono, tansu (antieke Japanse kasten zoals mizuya, kaidan ...), poppen, klein antiek curiosa zoals ikebana-manden tot tatami en futon. Een Japanse winkel die een keuze biedt voor iedere beurs en ieders smaak.
Door de rechtstreekse aanvoer vanuit Japan werken wij met uiterst scherpe prijzen.
Eén van de specialiteiten van Japan Center zijn de vintage kimono. Een ongelooflijke verzameling van 300 stuks is steeds in voorraad. Zowel voor dames als heren, korte haori en lange kimono allemaal in waardevolle stoffen zoals oude zijde, crêpe-de-chine, ... dit alles in een uitgebreid kleurenpalet.
Japan Center is ook Europa's n° 1 in yoroi (samoeraiharnassen).
Antieke tansu (het Japanse woord voor kast) vindt U bij ons terug in verschillende prijscategorieën naar gelang de leeftijd en grootte van de kast en de eventuele restauraties (welke in ons eigen atelier gebeuren).
Door onze regelmatige reizen naar Japan kunnen wij ook meer ongewone attributen meebrengen, zoals kyodai (spiegels), yoshi (paravant), hari-bako (naaidozen), soroban (telraam)... .

One of the specialties of Japan Center are the vintage kimono. An unbelievable collection of 300 pieces is always in stock. As well for ladies as men, short haori and long kimono all in precious materials as old silk, crêpe-de-chine... in an expand colour pole.
Antique tansu (the Japanese word for cupboard) you'll find in different price categories depending the age and size of the cupboard and the possible restorations (which are done in our own workshop ).
Through our regular trips to Japan can we also bring along more unusual attributes as kyodai (mirrors), yoshi (screen), hari-bako (sewing box), soroban (abacus)... .
